Ingredients
- 1 1/2 Teaspoons Active Dried Yeast
- 1 1/2 Cups Warm Water
- 3 Cups Plain Flour, or Bread Flour
- 2 Teaspoons Salt
Instructions
The Dough

Bloom Yeast-
Add Warm water and Instant Yeast into a small bowl. Set aside to bloom for 10 minutes.
Dry Ingredients-
Add dry ingredients into a large bowl.
Combine-
Once yeast has bloomed (bubbly on top) add it to the flour.
Mix Up-
Mix together. Once fully incorporated, you should be left with a wet runny mixture (similar to cake dough)
Shape and Proof-
Transfer mixture onto a flat surface that is sprinkled with Flour. Shape dough into a ball and then place in floured large bowl to proof for 3 hours or until dough has doubled in size. In 2 1/2 hours continue recipe.
Shape & Bake

Heat up-
At the 2 1/2 hour mark, Preheat your oven to 230c /445f and place Dutch Oven inside for 30 minutes to heat up.
Fold-
Transfer dough back onto a floured surface and fold it from the sides into the centre 6 times.
Final shape-
Using your hands roughly shape it into a circular loaf and then transfer onto a sheet of Baking Paper.
Dough to Dutch-
Carefully remove hot Dutch Oven and place Baking Paper with Bread into Dutch Oven. (PICTURED BELOW)
Bake-
Bake with lid on for 30 minutes. Then remove lid and bake for another 20 minutes or until golden on top.
Rest-
Remove from oven once crust is golden brown and let rest until fully cooled.-
